In partnership with Maricopa County Adult Probation and the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, Terros Health developed the nation’s first program to provide primary care and mental health services to adults in the justice system.

We give thousands of adults on probation — a historically underserved population that has experienced inequities in health coverage — a fresh start with comprehensive health care while reducing the recidivism rate. Merging justice and health care in this way is a game-changer, because it opens new doors for treatment, particularly when it comes to substance use disorder. Terros Health operates co-located health service and probation offices in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe and Kingman.
